After a long long while...

Singapore Idol has started. And i have to say that wow. It hasn't changed.

But strangely enough, i did recognise one face in it. hm.. i hope she makes it at least to the top 10 cause i've heard her sing and it's seriously super good. Haha, she should sing you give love a bad name by bon jovi. Her rendition. BLOODY AWESOME.

Then, I realised that my stupid passports are still with the stupid visa centre. Is it me, or do i just have a really really bad feeling about this?

See my passports had to be sent to freaking malaysia ( no offense to you) based KL british high com to do my stupid visa. Let's see. So i went online, filled up the stupid form. Printed it out. Printed out ANOTHER form. Went to freaking uluness of uluness in singapore. Just to have EVERYTHING sent to Malaysia.

And may I just mention, that the point of doing the stupid form ONLINE, is so that people WON'T have to spend 5 HOURS queueing up to pass up the stupid forms. Which, basically takes 5 minutes.

But you know. Whatever. It's nothing major after all.

I mean, it's only 5 hours of my time. Other people waited like 7 hours? 8 Hours? yeah.. So no big deal.

And the other things is that.. I have secretly become a singaporean who's still holding on to her m'sian citizenship because her father refuses to let her renounce her m'sian citizenship for God knows what stupid reason.

Oh, by the way, have i mentioned, i was called up for ns? Yep.

But shhhhhhhhhhh. Don't tell anyone. Don't say for which country either.

SHHHHHHHHH.

But there I go, blowing my cover away.

Am i retarded or what?

So many many things have happened...

In case some of you (who're reading my blog but are not close friends with me) don't know, I'm going to study overseas. UCL (University College of London) Environmental Geography. No, I'm not studying that because my results suck and i couldn't get into any of the local universities. In fact, I got ino psy for NTU and FASS for NUS; got ABC for A levels ( i hate that C). So for those of you who thought that i really did like shit.

Nope, sorry to burst your bubble. I really want to study geog and my course is pretty damn exciting, if you please. So i chose to go overseas to UCL to study. UCL is not some ulu ulu university, it's actually a pretty good school.

So that was my first piece of news.

Here's my second.

I'll be going in about 2.5 months time, early sep. So if you want to see me for the last time, please come talk to me ya? I'll try my best not to ditch meeting you at the last minute.

Third piece of news.

I got a new camera of which i'm freaking happy with. It's a panasonic lumix fx48. Even though i don't really know how to use th gazillion functions it has, i'm learning.

hm.... yep, that's about it. The most important was actually the first. Yep. Cause i've realised that i'm really really really really really sick of people giving me the "what the hell is that" look when they hear what i'm doing in uni.

Plus, if anyone, ANYONE tells me again that geography is a stupid and useless subject, i'm really going to rip into them. Anyone with a brain can tell you that it's the furthest thing away from stupid and useless.

But then again, everyone only knows about engineering, law, accounting, medicine, science.

But of course, they don't think that geog belongs under the category of science. Oh well.

Anyway, i'm not angry. I'm just clearing the air. Of course,with the typical bluntness of me. :D
